What does the modern realtor look like? PDF Print E-mail
Many of Advyon's clients are into Real Estate in one way or another.  One of my clients and a good friend of mine, Bill Branham, sent me a real estate article to read over.  I thought it was quite interesting and, it seems to paint the modern and future high end realtor:  Check out the article here:  http://www.inman.com/news/2008/11/25/ceo-real-estate-offices-must-shrink.  Want to share your thoughts on a what the modern realtor should look like?  Visit our forum discussion and let us know.

The agent of the future will be an adviser, a consultant and a negotiator -- and agents will do much of their work online or face-to-face with clients in the field.

Instant/Text Messaging the new business communication tool PDF Print E-mail

Yahoo, MSN, Google, ICQ, AOL, Text Messaging and other IM programs are perfect for business situations.  Consider having instant communication with co-workers and clients instead of that elusive e-mail send and receive campaign.  A recent study has shown that more experienced internet users are checking e-mail less often. (see article here)  As an internet and IT professional, I'm always looking for information to help my clients get the most out of their technology, and after reading this recent article from Techdirt, I started to think about how I communicate with my clients, friends and family.  Most of my friends and family have an instant stream of communication with me VIA instant messaging, either texting or IM's to my computer or cell phone, but I haven't opened this communication tool to my business clients.  Why was I missing the boat on this?
