Adobe Gives In By Not Supporting Flash for Mobile Devices |

Earlier today, Adobe announced it is stopping support for mobile flash players. The TV version of flash has also been abandoned. Flash in its heyday provided a magnificient way to make an interactive presentation on the web, with its fading pictures, flash games, and even full websites programmed in Adobe flash. Flash did however have a hard time entering the mobile platform space. From the start Apple denounced flash capabilities for reasons of poor battery life and security on its iPhone, iPod, and iPad devices. Microsoft followed suit by publicly announcing their mobile players would also be in favor of the new web language HTML5.
